Credits & Purchasing
How Credits Work#
Credits are spent only on the AI steps of the pipeline. Every other step — edge outline, backdrop color, trim to subject, shadow, resizing, creating copies and export — is free and unlimited.
| Step | Cost |
|---|---|
| Background removal | 1 credit per image |
| Upscale 2× | 1 credit per image |
| Upscale 4× (Ultra) | 3 credits per image |
Costs add up per image: a photo processed with background removal and 4× upscale costs 4 credits, while a photo that only gets trimmed and resized costs nothing.
Credits are deducted only when a step succeeds. If the AI service fails or times out, the credit is refunded automatically.
Free Credits#
Every user receives 5 free credits per week:
- Refreshed on a rolling 7-day window that starts from your first use — not on a fixed weekday
- No account or signup required
- Fully functional — same quality as paid credits
- Cannot be accumulated — unused free credits don't roll over
Free credits are tied to your Figma account. Clearing browser data won't give you extra free credits.
Purchasing Credits#
When you need more than the weekly allowance, buy a credit pack:
| Package | Credits |
|---|---|
| Starter | 50 |
| Pro | 200 |
| Business | 600 |
Current prices are shown on the pricing page.
How to Purchase#
- Open the pricing page and switch to the Product Photo Studio tab — or click Get more credits right in the plugin, which opens the same page for you
- Select a credit package
- Complete the checkout
- Credits are added to your account instantly — return to the plugin and the new balance appears automatically
Important Notes#
- Purchased credits never expire — use them whenever you need
- Credits are non-refundable once used
- Credits stack — buying multiple packages adds to your total balance
- Buying credits replaces the free weekly allowance. Once you've purchased, your balance is your purchased credits only and the weekly top-up stops — the two don't stack
Checking Your Balance#
In the Plugin#
The plugin window shows your current balance in the header, along with the number of credits the configured batch will consume before you run it.
